π Wushu player dropped just before Asian Games
Indian wushu player Divyanshi Choudhary became visibly emotional after being dropped from the Asian Games squad. This happened in Nagoya, as she was removed from the womenβs 60kg category while at the National Institute of Sports in Patiala. The decision was made just days before the event, and she was replaced by Roshibina Devi Naorem. Divyanshi claimed mental harassment, but the Wushu Association of India stated the Sports Authority of India (SAI) removed her due to a knee injury. Her father confirmed an ACL injury, though the federation defended the selection process. π₯
