health π‘οΈ Wrist Temp Links to Metabolic Risk, Study Finds
Russian scientists have developed a new method to check for metabolic disorder risks using wrist temperature changes. Researchers from Tyumen State Medical University found that smaller wrist temperature variations suggest a higher chance of metabolic issues and extra weight. The study tracked participants for at least one week, publishing results in Chronobiology International. Specifically, people with less than 1 C circadian temperature amplitude were four times more likely to have high morning leptin levels. Maintaining a consistent daily routine is also noted to positively affect overall wellbeing.
