π¬ wedge angle boosts heat and mass transfer in flow
A study used the HAN method to check how wedge angle affects thermo-fluid and mass transfer in FalknerβSkan flow. Researchers examined the Hartree pressure gradient parameter from $\beta = 0$ (flat plate) to $\beta = 1.0$ (90Β° wedge) in this analysis. Increasing the wedge angle boosted wall gradients by 162%, 19.8%, and 19.0%, while increasing the skin friction coefficient by 85.7%. These findings offer design insights for optimizing heat and mass transfer in aerospace components like turbine blades. π
