ποΈ Vermont aims to reunite Snake Mountain land rights
The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department plans to secure timber rights over 949 acres of the Snake Mountain WMA. This initiative involves land located between Addison and Weybridge, Vermont. Both the timber rights acquisition and the addition of 256 acres are expected to finalize by early 2027. This move reunites state land ownership with timber management for better wildlife protection. The expansion will enhance habitat connectivity and provide more options for outdoor enthusiasts. π³
