A fire tragically broke out in the gynaecology ward of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad on Wednesday. The nursery housed 16 newborns when the blaze started, and only one baby was managed to be rescued from the ward. Rescue officials stated that the fire reportedly began after an air-conditioner compressor exploded inside the nursery around 7 am.
