world ๐ Thane couple survives Kailash Yatra, learns helpers died
A couple from Thane, Maharashtra, returned safely from the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra after being stranded by flash floods. Prakash Mane and Pratibha, along with 43 other Indian pilgrims, navigated the region near the Nepal-China border. The floods, triggered on August 26, led to a death toll of 1,003, with around 4,000 people still missing. They were deeply shaken to learn that local service providers who assisted them had perished in the disaster. The couple remains grateful for their safe return despite the profound grief.
