π Tamil Nadu to help Haemophilia patients with medicine
Tamil Nadu Health Minister K.G. Arunraj announced steps to distribute Emicizumab for Haemophilia A patients on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. This response addressed a motion by M.S. Ravi demanding free distribution of the medicine. Emicizumab is used to treat Haemophilia A patients who have Factor VIII inhibitor antibodies. Although it is not on the National Health Mission (NHM) essential medicines list, the government is actively working on distribution. Further updates on the distribution plan are expected from the state government.
