world ✈️ Taiwan's F-16s vs. PLA's J-20s: Can they level up?
Taiwan's first two F-16 Block 70 fighter jets are set to arrive in the near future, potentially boosting Taipei's chances against the PLA's J-20s. These jets are part of a massive NT$247.3 billion deal covering 66 aircraft. The two planes, 6727 and 6728, departed South Carolina on August 17th and are heading to Taitung, Taiwan. This arrival is a big step for a procurement program that has faced many delays since 2019. The jets require refueling during their journey across the Pacific.
