😴 Study warns teens lose sleep late at night 📱
A recent study reveals that over half of adolescents continue using smartphones between midnight and 4 a.m. on school nights. Researchers from UCSF tracked 657 adolescents with an average age of 15 years. The findings showed teens average over 50 minutes on phones between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., with social media being the most used app. This late-night scrolling severely impacts brain development during this critical teenage phase. Parents are advised to implement digital curfews and keep phones out of the bedroom to protect sleep.
