๐๏ธ SFI activists get bail after Sanskrit uni protest
The Perumbavoor Judicial First Class Magistrate Court granted bail to four SFI activists on Wednesday. These activists were arrested after a protest at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS), Kalady, on August 13. The accused included Mebin Jose (24), Basil Scaria (29), Vijeesh (23), and Yadhu Krishnan (19). They were booked under multiple BNS sections related to rioting and assault following a symbolic funeral of V-C Ciza Thomas. SFI State secretary P.S. Sanjeev claimed the case was fabricated and sought apologies from ministers.
