The Supreme Court emphasized the need for institutionalizing reforms within the National Testing Agency (NTA) following the NEET-UG 2026 paper leaks. The court, presided over by Justices P.S. Narasimha and Alok Aradhe, warned against replacing old panels with new ones completely. This scrutiny comes after the NEET-UG 2026 leaks stranded over 23 lakh medical aspirants, leading to a CBI probe. Justice Narasimha stressed that reforms must have meaningful continuity across successive officers to fix systemic issues. The government was asked to detail implementation of the Radhakrishnan Committee's recommendations. π
