world ๐ฅ Russia claims strikes on Ukrainian ports and railway
Russia announced that its forces hit a railway station at the Ukrainian Danube port of Izmail and two vessels near Mykolaiv. Simultaneously, Ukrainian drones targeted a Baltic oil export hub and a warehouse near Moscow on Friday. The Russian Ministry of Defence stated the Izmail railway was used for military cargo, while 50+ drones were reportedly shot down near St Petersburg overnight. These actions come as Ukraine continues to target Russian energy infrastructure to increase the war's cost. Consequently, flight restrictions were placed at Moscow-area airports and neighboring countries heightened security.
