science π°οΈ Roman Telescope ready for Falcon Heavy launch
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is set for its major mission launch soon. SpaceX will launch it from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Liftoff is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 30, at 7:26 a.m. EDT (1126 GMT) from LC-39A. This observatory will study dark energy, search for exoplanets, and investigate distant star physics. Should Sunday's launch be delayed, a backup window is available on Monday, Aug. 31, at 7:22 a.m. EDT (1122 GMT). π
