😥 Two motorcyclists killed in Raichur accident

Two young motorcyclists tragically died in a road accident late Thursday evening. The incident happened near Jalahalli village in the Deodurga taluk of Raichur district. The duo, Uday Ramanna and Vijay Neelakanth, were struck head-on by an autorickshaw. This collision caused them to fall and then be hit by a state-owned bus behind them. Police have registered a case and an investigation is currently underway. 😥

🚨 Rowdy-sheeter caught after six years on the run

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) has successfully arrested a 33-year-old rowdy-sheeter named Divakar Raj Urs. He was apprehended near the Raghavendra Swamy Temple in Papareddypalya, near Annapoorneshwari Nagar. A non-bailable warrant was pending against him for an attempted murder case registered at the Magadi Road Police Station. Currently, 12 serious criminal cases are registered against him covering multiple offenses. CCB was monitoring such accused individuals and tracked Urs based on received information. 🚨

ICAR-NRCB officially released two new banana varieties, Kaveri Thangam and Kaveri Nadan, during its Foundation Day celebrations in Tiruchi. The varieties came after 15 years of research and extensive field testing across the country. Kaveri Thangam boasts high Vitamin A and is weevil-resistant, while Kaveri Nadan offers up to 75 tonnes per hectare yield.
