πΎ Rain saves cotton crops in Yadgir district
Favourable rainfall in late July and early August revived the cotton crop across Yadgir district after a long dry spell. Farmers in the district are optimistic about the current crop's growth after the recent showers. Agriculture Department data shows cotton sowing surpassed the 2,02,452 hectare target, reaching 2,15,603 hectares. Five out of the six taluks recorded sowing achievements above 100% against their respective targets. Farmers anticipate a good yield if weather conditions remain favourable in the coming weeks. πΎ
