π₯ Postpartum symptoms link to low self-esteem
Childbirth can lead to depression and low self-esteem due to minor post-delivery health problems. Researchers assessed 120 women aged 18 or older three months after delivery in Poland. Findings showed 46% reported pain and 43% experienced bleeding during the study. More severe symptoms correlated with higher chances of depression and lower self-esteem. Therefore, psychological support must accompany physical symptom treatment for postpartum issues.
