ποΈ Pak court lets Hindu woman return home
A Pakistani court on Tuesday permitted a 21-year-old Hindu woman to go back to her parents. Shirimati Reeta, from Sanghar district, went missing last week after her family alleged abduction and forced conversion. She was allegedly taken to Gujranwala in Punjab on August 24 and pressured to marry Nazeer Hussain. Despite police wanting her in a shelter, her lawyers stated she wanted to return with her brother. The magistrate then allowed Reeta to leave with her brother for her safe return. ποΈ
