π¦· Obesity linked to more tooth wear in Pakistan
A study examined the link between tooth wear and obesity measures among Pakistani adults. Researchers at Aga Khan University Hospital investigated 406 participants aged 18β65 years. Higher BMI and WC were strongly associated with increased tooth wear severity, with specific high-risk groups showing issues. While overall quality of life didn't differ much, worse taste perception was linked to higher tooth wear risk. Further research is needed because the design couldn't prove cause and effect. π¦·
