๐ฌ New Paper Unlocks InSe Structure Secrets
Researchers investigated the scattering behaviors of monolayer and bilayer InSe using resonance Raman spectroscopy. This study was conducted based on first-principles calculations to probe electron-phonon coupling in InSe. For monolayer InSe, the hole-scattering pathway dominates the single-resonance Raman response, with a strong enhancement near 235 cmโ1. In bilayer InSe, the low-frequency interlayer phonon modes offer fingerprints of the exact layer number. These findings clarify the microscopic origins of resonance Raman scattering and provide ways to characterize InSe's structure. ๐ฌ
