science πͺ New exoplanets found; one might be Earth-like
Spanish researchers announced the discovery of two new exoplanets, TOI-1752 b and TOI-1752 c, orbiting the red dwarf TOI-1752. The findings were made on August 31st by an international team led by Spanish scientists. TOI-1752 b is a lava world with 4.35 Earth masses, while TOI-1752 c is a super-Earth estimated at 5.20 Earth masses. Scientists believe TOI-1752 c could support liquid water depending on its atmosphere. Future observations will focus on analyzing the atmospheres of these two fascinating worlds.
