π¬ New compounds target oral cancer pathway
Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC) needs better treatments because of its poor prognosis. Researchers screened fifteen 1H-1,2,3-Triazole Derivatives against the TGF-Ξ²I pathway at Vellore Institute of Technology. The study, published on September 11, 2026, found Compounds 3e and 3o showed the best binding scores of -12.1 kcal/mol. These compounds were identified as potential drug candidates for OSCC treatment after stable binding was confirmed in simulations. Further testing will determine the viability of these novel therapeutic options. π¬
