A novel adaptive AI model named BLAC-Q4DIM significantly reduces ionospheric modeling errors for GNSS. Researchers from Wuhan University, China University of Geosciences, and National Centre for Physics in Pakistan developed this solution. Tested over two 30-day periods, it showed an 80-85% RMS error reduction compared to standard GIMs during a G5 geomagnetic storm. This closed-loop architecture allows the model to dynamically adjust its parameters based on changing conditions. The technology promises huge accuracy boosts for autonomous vehicles and space weather monitoring. π°οΈ
