Space experts confirm there are more astronomical events coming up this year and in 2027. A partial lunar eclipse is scheduled for August 27 and August 28 for most of North America. The eclipse will last over five hours, with the peak visibility lasting around 3 hours and 18 minutes. During the maximum phase, most of North America should be able to view this phenomenon. Lunar eclipses are safe to watch without any special equipment.
