๐ Moderna starts first human trial for Ebola vaccine
Moderna has officially started the first human clinical trial for an experimental vaccine against the Bundibugyo ebolavirus. The trial is taking place in Canada, where early volunteers have already received the mRNA-1469 shot. The study aims to enroll about 80 healthy adults across three sites to check for safety and immune response. This effort is supported by an expanded partnership with CEPI, which has committed up to $50 million for testing. If approved, Moderna plans to provide 500,000 doses to low- and middle-income countries. ๐
