π‘ Missouri engineer's underground home getting a glow-up
An unconventional, reinforced-concrete home carved into a Missouri Ozarks hillside is undergoing restoration by the homeowner's son. Engineer Conway purchased the 225-acre land in 1970 and built the unique residence largely by himself. The structure has remained leak-free for over fifty years, blending into the natural surroundings. The home features a specialized earth-based ventilation system to regulate internal temperatures. Zane, the son, is currently restoring the property room by room after showcasing it to experts. π‘
