⚛️ Microscopic Big Bang recreates early universe matter
Researchers successfully recreated primordial matter, akin to a Little Big Bang, by colliding small atomic nuclei. This work was conducted by the Niels Bohr Institute and the ALICE collaboration at CERN in Switzerland. The experiment used Neon-20 and Oxygen-16 collisions, publishing findings on Physical Review Letters on a recent date. This advances understanding of the universe's earliest moments and fundamental nuclear physics. Next, the team plans experiments with even lighter nuclei like helium-4. ⚛️
