π Marathoner technocrat sets new tech direction for Tata Group
Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, is stepping down after giving a tech-focused direction to the Tata Group. He took over in 2017 and spearheaded major investments in semiconductors and electronics manufacturing across the conglomerate. Under his leadership, the group expanded into global aviation via Air India and implemented the 'One Tata' strategy. His exit is partly due to board member disagreement regarding his future extension and other operational pressures. He leaves an unfinished agenda after nearly 40 years with the group. πββοΈ
