๐ Maharashtra aims to be drug-free by 2029
The Maharashtra cabinet approved the 'Whole-of-Government Approach' policy on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chaired the meeting focused on drug eradication across the state. The plan mandates drug awareness lessons in schools starting from Class V next academic year, 2027. Implementation involves assigning responsibilities from village to Mantralaya levels, coordinating with ANTF. Departments will also award the best-performing district annually on June 26. ๐
