ποΈ Law convention pushes Kerala for state university
The State studentsβ convention of the All India Lawyers Union (AILU) has strongly urged the Keralam government to establish a State law university. This call was made by the convention, which was presided over by AILU State president K. Gopalakrishna Kurup. The resolution highlighted the need for a centralized system to handle admissions and enrolment across the state's nearly 40 law colleges. Furthermore, the convention demanded that UGC-prescribed qualifications be mandatory for all law college teachers. This advocacy took place on September 19, 2026, and aims to improve legal education infrastructure.
