business ๐ Karnataka eyeing cities beyond Bengaluru boom ๐๏ธ
The Karnataka government is planning to develop multiple cities as alternatives to the heavily strained Bengaluru. Chief Minister DK Shivakumar stated this focus during his 100-day mark on September 10. The strategy includes pushing tech and manufacturing to places like Mysuru, Mangaluru, and Hubballi-Dharwad-Belagavi. This aims to alleviate pressure from Bengaluru's 12.5 million population and 11.5 million vehicles. The goal is to create regional economic hubs across the state for sustained growth.
