๐พ Karnataka drought relief hinges on central report match
Karnataka will only receive proper drought relief if the state's assessment report aligns with the Union government's findings. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated this while meeting farmers in Gadag district on Tuesday. Currently, Gadag district is facing its worst drought in 50 years, with a 40% rainfall reduction reported. The state has released one list of drought-hit taluks and provided interim relief measures. Moving forward, the government will study both lists and proceed with necessary actions for the affected areas. ๐พ
