sports π Javagal Srinath's legendary bowling career
Javagal Srinath started his career with a hat-trick on his first-class debut in 1989-90 for Karnataka. He became a pace spearhead for India, achieving 87 wickets in one season for Gloucestershire in 1995. During the 1996-97 period, Srinath bowled a delivery clocked at 156 kph, faster than Allan Donald and Lance Klusener. Despite shoulder issues, he maintained pace, reaching 149 kmph in the 1999 World Cup. Srinath retired at age 33, but remains one of India's most successful ODI fast bowlers. π
