⛽ US crude stocks stable despite gasoline dips

U.S. crude oil inventories saw a minor increase of 100,000 barrels during the week ending August 21. This data came from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) reporting on Wednesday. 📉 Govt's free coaching scheme underperforming badly

A parliamentary panel report highlighted that the government's free coaching scheme has seen very low uptake across three years. Out of a target of 10,500 candidates, only 2,790 students were enrolled in total, according to the August 10 report. While the target annually was 3,500, the actual enrollments were only 223 in 2023-24. The committee also pointed out that the ₹8 lakh annual family income ceiling is a major barrier to more students accessing the benefits.
