๐ข India worried over hijacked ships with sailors
India has raised concerns with Somalian authorities regarding two hijacked commercial vessels carrying Indian sailors. The vessels, MT Sibu and MV Lutuf, had 16 and six Indian seafarers respectively. One was hijacked on the 20th of this month off the Yemeni coast, and the other on August 17th off Somaliaโs Puntland coast. The Indian High Commission in Kenya confirmed that all Indian seafarers are reportedly safe and India prioritizes their welfare. New Delhi is actively addressing safety concerns for its mariners in volatile waters.
