π India's FDI hits 15-year high in Q1 2026
India attracted $30.7 billion in gross foreign direct investment during the April-June 2026 quarter, marking a 15-year high. The majority of these inflows, around 74%, came from Singapore, the Netherlands, the U.S., and Canada. Quarterly gross inflows rose nearly 46% compared to the quarter ending March 2026. This strong inflow overshadowed outflows, resulting in a net FDI of $7.8 billion for the quarter. The RBI data shows continued global investor interest in the Indian market.
