business π’ India keeps trade flowing through Hormuz Strait
India successfully moved 60 merchant vessels through the Strait of Hormuz during the recent Gulf crisis. This operation was managed by the government in response to heightened security tensions in the region. The crisis response also involved repatriating 3,972 Indian seafarers from the Gulf region. A 24-hour crisis management system handled over 15,771 calls and 36,499 emails during the period. This shows India's critical supply chain remained largely intact despite regional fears.
