✈️ India eyeing 114 Rafales to boost air power
India is moving closer to securing 114 Rafale fighter jets from Dassault Aviation for the Indian Air Force. This deal involves extensive local production and technology transfer, as the proposal was submitted to New Delhi. The procurement requirement, accepted in February, aims to bridge the gap until Tejas Mk-2 and AMCA become fully operational. The Rafale's advanced radar and SPECTRA electronic warfare suite give it a significant combat edge. Completing the acquisition process will require final approval from the Cabinet Committee on Security. ✈️
