business 🚢 India and Denmark level up maritime game 🚢
India and Denmark are expanding their maritime cooperation beyond green shipping into naval and commercial shipbuilding. This partnership involves exploring opportunities for Danish companies in the Indian market, as stated by Denmark’s ambassador to India. They are conducting a feasibility study to boost domestic shipbuilding capacity and reduce reliance on foreign fleets. This effort supports India’s Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, aiming for a 40-fold increase in shipbuilding output by 2047. The collaboration also focuses on tech, energy efficiency, and alternative marine fuels.
