India and Canada have set a shared target to boost bilateral trade to C$70 billion by 2030. This goal was discussed during the first finance ministers’ economic dialogue held in New Delhi. The two nations are also ready to start talks on a bilateral investment treaty at the earliest. They further committed to finalizing the comprehensive economic partnership agreement by the end of 2026. Future discussions are scheduled to take place again in 2027 to build on these ties. 🤝
