Bengaluru court sent IAS officers Gyanendra Gangwar and Basavaraj Kannale to 10 days of police custody. The arrest was made in connection with irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission's veterinary officer recruitment. This followed the alleged recovery of documents related to the question paper for 400 posts. Investigators are looking into paper leakage, OMR tampering, and associated financial transactions. The CID is also examining allegations of middlemen demanding huge amounts from candidates.
