world 💣 Hezbollah rejects deal, refuses to surrender
Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem again rejected a deal reached between Israel and Lebanon on Friday. This stance was announced by the Iran-backed group in a televised address broadcast on Al-Manar television channel. The framework agreement, signed in late June, involved Hezbollah disarmament and Israeli force withdrawal following attacks starting March 2. Qassem called the agreement illegitimate and refused to agree to 'pilot zones' or any verification system. A new round of talks was planned for early September, despite ongoing Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. 💣
