health ๐ค H1N1 cases surge across India during monsoon
A significant surge in H1N1 influenza cases has been recorded across regions, showing more than a six-fold increase compared to the previous year. This increase is being seen in parts of central and north India due to high humidity and extended monsoon conditions. Although the circulating strain is similar to the 2009 pandemic, seasonal variations lead to higher spread rates. Most cases are mild and respond well to symptomatic treatment, but preventive measures are advised. Taking an annual influenza vaccine, ideally in April or May, is crucial for protection. ๐ค
