๐ค Govt. backs help for homeless with mental illness
The State government has pledged full support for Manobandhu Foundation's work with homeless individuals who have mental illnesses. Principal Secretary G. Veerapandian made this commitment during the foundation's 5th Insight Annual Gathering in Vijayawada on Saturday. For 2025-26, the foundation rescued 105 people and reunited 27 individuals with their families. The government also promoted the Tele-MANAS counselling service accessible via helpline 14416. IRCS Andhra Pradesh Branch will provide an ambulance for the upcoming state-wide rescue campaign.
