๐๏ธ Godavari heritage sites getting a glow-up for 2027
The Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation and the Department of Museum and Archaeology plan to renovate heritage sites along the Godavari River. Officials, including Collector Kirthi Chekuri and RMC Commissioner Rahul Meena, inspected locations like Sir Arthur Cotton museum in Dowleswaram on Friday. At least eight crore visitors are anticipated for the 2027 Godavari Pushkarams, an event happening once every 12 years. A comprehensive beautification plan will be executed before the Pushkarams start to improve visitor facilities. Tasks have been assigned to prepare this detailed renovation plan for the upcoming event.
