π± Four Indian firms targeting new mobile manufacturing push
Dixon Technologies, Amber Enterprises India, Lava International, and NxtQuantum Shift Technologies are preparing applications for the MPMS. This new scheme, which replaces the mobile PLI, has a total budget of βΉ62,500 crore over five years. The government intends for this initiative to boost both exports and local production within India. It also provides distinct incentives designed specifically to support homegrown Indian brands in the market. The next step involves these companies officially submitting their eligibility documents to the relevant authorities.
