health ๐คฐ Four eating styles linked to pregnancy outcomes
A recent study found distinct dietary patterns among pregnant women correlating with maternal and newborn health indicators. The research involved 1,404 pregnant women in Germany's LIFE Child cohort between 2011 and 2025. Four clusters were identified: Mixed, Traditional bread-based, High-UPF, and Vegetable-rich. Women in the High-UPF cluster were younger and had the highest mean BMI before pregnancy. Infants in the Vegetable-rich cluster showed a higher mean gestational age at birth. ๐คฐ
