science π Fluids theory gets a massive upgrade π
The classic Navier-Stokes equations governing fluid flow, developed in the 19th century, have been updated with a modern theory. This breakthrough involved a 20-year effort by physicists to rebuild fluid theory from the ground up. Researchers redefined what a fluid is using fundamental properties called symmetries. They demonstrated that Navier-Stokes equations are actually a consequence of these symmetries. This new understanding allows predictions beyond the limitations of the older models. π¬
