๐ก Florida home becomes county's first local landmark
A historic 1908 Johnson Helm House in Oneco, Florida, has been designated as Manatee Countyโs first local historic landmark. Margi and Pat Nanney moved into the three-story structure in 1985 and spent 41 years preserving its original character. The house retains about 95% of its original features, including woodwork and floors. This new county designation offers an extra layer of protection beyond its National Register status. Future changes to the property will now be subject to review by the County Commission. ๐ก
