science ๐ฆ First adult T-rex footprints found in North Dakota
Scientists recently unearthed the first known series of adult Tyrannosaurus rex footprints in North Dakota, US. This 23-foot-long trackway, featuring four three-toed prints, was found in the Hell Creek Formation last year. The footprints date back 66.5 million years and were studied by experts from Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Liverpool John Moores University. These prints reveal behavioral patterns and suggest the T-rex walked at about 3.5-7.25km/h. Three of these significant footprints will be airlifted to the Denver museum later this year.
