A Bengaluru engineer left his decade-long role as a chief architect at Wipro to launch Akshayakalpa Organic. He started the venture from his roots in Tiptur, facing family disapproval for eight years. The company is now a Rs 600-crore dairy and farming enterprise established in 2010. It aims to make farming a desirable profession for young people in India. Currently, it supports around 2,800 farmers with an average monthly payout of 1.28 lakh. π§βπΎ
